The future of Indiana’s workforce depends on how we support women at work. Across industries, employers are navigating the same challenges: retention, burnout, absenteeism, rising health costs, and workforce participation. What many organizations are only beginning to recognize is how closely these issues connect to women’s health across the lifespan — including pregnancy and postpartum recovery, caregiving responsibilities, mental health, and menopause.

Hosted by the Wellness Council of Indiana in partnership with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Health at Work Forum brings together employers, HR and benefits leaders, and community partners for a one-day, practical conversation focused on solutions. This is not a clinical conference. It is a workforce strategy conversation. Throughout the day, participants will hear from state leaders, national experts and Indiana employers who are implementing real policies and practices that better support employees while strengthening their organizations.

Attendees will explore:
• parental leave and lactation support
• childcare as a workforce strategy
• caregiving and the “dual role” many employees carry
• women’s mental health and the invisible load
• menopause and mid-career workforce retention
• the business case for supporting women’s health at work

The forum concludes with a clear call to action and the launch of a new employer resource toolkit, giving organizations practical starting points they can take back and implement immediately. Whether you lead a team of 10 or 10,000, you will leave with practical ideas you can implement immediately.
